Flowers and birds are two of Sumaco’s favorite art subjects and they are depicted in more than thirty of her intaglio prints. Thirty-nine examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Sumaco draws her picture subjects in a creative way by blurring their surface features, simplifying their colors and sometimes altering their true shapes.
